Our story starts in two different places: Shi was born and raised in Ohio, and Ryan originally hails from sunny Arizona, but don’t let that desert sun fool you…he's now a Buckeye through and through (and might just own more scarlet and gray than he should 😄). Together, we created Happy Ohioan to honor our shared love for Ohio and the everyday joy it brings.

At Happy Ohioan, we’re fueled by the energy of game days, the warmth of small-town life, and the charm that makes Ohio feel like home.
